Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary Mom and Dad! :)

Officially Graduated... New Job... Memorial Weekend Fun!
**I signed my official job offer letter (a little while ago) at Jeffrey E. Smith Companies and will start work on June 23rd as a Pre-Leasing Consultant! When there are no properties to lease up, I will help out in their marketing/design department. YAY, I'm employed. :)
**This past Memorial Weekend, my family and I went to the lake and had a blast! Oh, how I love Summer weather, especially at the Lake of the Ozarks!

Recent Happenings: Job: CHECK! School: Almost CHECK! Life... Here I come....
I've been pretty bad about updating my blog lately, as I've been nearing the end of my undergraduate degree. I'm not sure many know or have heard (if you've talked to the parents I'm sure you've heard) but I am officially employed! I received my official job letter offer and signed yesterday to confirm. I will be working for Jeffrey E. Smith Companies as a Pre-Leasing Consultant and in the downtime of pre-leasing I will help in their Marketing/Design department. YAY! It's a very exciting time for me. So many things are happening in my life.
The job is in St. Louis, but a lot of travel is involved, so for now, I will live at home and when I am leasing in St. Louis a wonderful family friend has invited me to stay at her home until I find a place for good. This will help me save, save, save! Money is so important right now, especially in this economy!
So, I'm writing this right before I go take my last final ever... (well maybe, who knows, maybe I'll eventually go back and get my masters :)), but for now, it's my last final of my undergraduate degree. I'm excited, sad, and scared... all mixed into one. My best friend in college, Terra, and I have had lots of heart-to-hearts this week. I have lived with her for four years (every year of my college life) and not living with her is going to be hard--it's also a strange realization that I am growing up and taking the next step in my life.
As I take my last final and prepare for graduation Saturday, I ask for the Lord to be with on my next exciting step in life, as it can only come with new obstacles and challenges, but even more fun, as well!
WORLD... watch out... Casey Garr is on her own... :)
If you haven't gone to a concert lately.. You MUST go see the "United Tour" featuring Michael W. Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman!

I like to relate songs to my life. I feel like the lyrics in songs relate to my life and really inspire me, and, of course, make me JAM out in the car. :)
Well, folks, today's the big day: the INTERVIEW! So please keep me in your prayers. And please don't pray that I get the job but ask the Lord for His will to be done in my life.
And without leaving you with a really long blog post I'd like for you to listen to two songs that have really inspired me lately:
1. The Climb by Miley Cyrus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrMoWZ-jbTg&videos=iG96liP-z4w&playnext_from=TL&playnext=1
--Yes, the video is cheesy...but the words are very pointed towards my life at this moment in time.
2. Make Something Beautiful by Laura Story: http://new.music.yahoo.com/laura-story/albums/great-god-who-saves--58480044
--Click on the track that says "Make Something Beautiful" and then click the Play Button and Enjoy! :)
I hope these move you in some way, as well!
Just when you think you have your life planned out before you, our mighty Lord decides to let you in on a little secret: "Dear Child, you are NOT in charge, I am! :)"
Three things you need to know:
1. I have recently been applying for jobs in the Columbia area as I have planned out for my life that I would like to stay home after graduation and save money (let Mom and Dad buy the groceries :) ). I made this decision recently after some praying and thinking about what would be best for my future.
2. This past summer and winter break I interned for a company, Jeffrey E. Smith Companies. My mentor and boss, Lisa Pilkington told me I had a promising future with this company when I graduted.
3. And then the email comes: Lisa says I have an interview THIS Friday April 25, 2008. The position will be in St. Louis (not in Columbia, as I have originally planned [read number 1]).
The Lord works in mysterious ways, and I am humbled to say I will take his direction and know that His will is always best, NOT mine.
Please pray for my future as I graduate and enter the "real world." I'm excited and scared, at the same time. Yet, can't wait for what God has in store for me! :) Lord, lead me and I will follow!
This is officially my first blog post. I'm not sure why but I've never really started a blog. I guess now since I'm graduating college and have all of this wealth of knowledge :), I've decided to start one and share it with the world.
Basically, I want to keep everyone up to date, friends and family far and wide, on what's going on in my life. Jobs, trips, family, Jesse, etc. I am always taking pictures, so I figured this would also be a way of sharing what I'm doing for some of you who choose to boycott facebook... (even Gradma Fischer-Garber signed up!). It really is a great way of keeping in touch (think about it!).
So in closing, I hope to be able to share what's going on in my life to anyone and everyone who wants to know.
